India, July 30 -- A 25-year-old woman has been booked by the police for allegedly using expletives against Prime Minister Narendra Modi during a Cockroach Janta Party (CJP)-led protest over paper leaks in Delhi.

Ruchika Singh allegedly made objectionable remarks at Jantar Mantar on July 23.

A complaint was filed against her on Wednesday, with the complainant alleging that her comments insulted the dignity of the Prime Minister's office and had the potential to disturb public peace and create disharmony.

Zero FIR registered in Noida

A Zero FIR was registered at the Expressway Police Station in Noida, allowing the complaint to be filed there despite the alleged incident taking place in Delhi.
