India, Aug. 14 -- iTech, East India's largest Apple Authorised Reseller, on Friday launched its Apple Premium Partner (APP) store at Acropolis Mall in Kolkata, with 1,500 pre-bookings registered and more than 2,000 units expected to be sold during the first three days following the inauguration.

Speaking to IBNS, iTech Founder and CEO Udit Dokania said the company had been planning to open a major store in Kolkata for some time.

"We were planning to open a major premium store in Kolkata of this grand size, and finally that milestone has been reached," Dokania said.

He said iTech is targeting the milestone of 50 stores by next year.
