'Who brought a 12-year-old to protest?' Advocate seeks POCSO case against CJP leaders
Kolkata/IBNS, Aug. 6 -- West Bengal-based advocate Rinki Chatterjee Singh has sought registration of a Zero FIR against Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) leaders Abhijeet Dipke, Saurav Das and other organisers over the alleged presence of a 12-year-old child at the organisation's July 20 protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi.
Singh has sought action under provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, questioning why a minor was allegedly brought to a demonstration where a lathi-charge took place and where, according to her complaint, abusive language was allegedly used against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the country.
