New York/IBNS, Nov. 4 -- In a major shift in the New York city, nearly one million residents, mostly wealthy, are planning to shift as Democratic Socialist Zohran Mamdani is surging ahead in the Mayoral elections, media reports said.

In a poll which was conducted on October 23-26, nine percent of 500 registered voters said they would "definitely" leave the city while 25 percent are considering the exit option.

If the poll presents the overall scenario exactly, then it is set to be one of the massive wipeouts in the history of America.
