Los Angeles/IBNS, April 28 -- The teaser of Verity, starring Dakota Johnson and Anne Hathaway has been unveiled, offering a glimpse into a dark and layered psychological thriller.

Helmed by Michael Showalter, the film is based on the bestselling novel Verity by Colleen Hoover.

The project also marks Showalter's reunion with Hathaway after The Idea of You. The film is slated for a theatrical release on October 2.
