India, Oct. 22 -- Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) spokespersons Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka were released from custody on Wednesday after a Special Executive Magistrate in Delhi accepted their surety and peace bonds in connection with their protest at Jantar Mantar.

"Truth has triumphed," Das said as the two leaders were being taken away following the release order.

Das and Ranka had been in judicial custody since October 14 after allegedly scaling the locked gates of Jantar Mantar and waving national flags on October 13 to protest the denotification of the site as a designated protest venue.
