Kolkata/IBNS, Oct. 29 -- In a shocking remark, Trinamool Congress (TMC) national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee has asked people to "tie up" Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders if they visit localities to campaign for Special Intensive Revision (SIR) escalating attack on the saffron party over the drive.

Abhishek, who also happens to be the nephew of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, on Wednesday made the controversial remark while visiting the house of a Panihati resident, who the TMC claimed to have committed suicide out of fear of National Register of Citizens (NRC) after SIR was announced by the ECI.
