India, Oct. 10 -- In a strong reaction following the announcement of the Nobel Peace Prize 2025 to Venezuelan opposition leader and pro-democracy activist Maria Corina Machado, the White House alleged that it was "politics over peace", saying US President Donald Trump will continue "ending wars".

"Once again, the Nobel Committee has proved they place politics over peace," White House spokesperson Steven Cheung said in a statement Friday evening.

"President Trump will continue making peace deals, ending wars, and saving lives. He has the heart of a humanitarian, and there will never be anyone like him who can move mountains with the sheer force of his will."
