India, Aug. 15 -- Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation on Independence Day, highlighting India's strength in having a stable government and outlining his administration's seven-point reform agenda aimed at securing the country's future and driving the next generation of reforms.

Addressing the nation from the historic Red Fort, Modi outlined seven key areas of focus: manufacturing, agriculture and food processing, technology and innovation, Gati Shakti (mobility and connectivity), Raksha Shakti (defence security), the green and blue economy, and soft power.
