Kolkata/IBNS, July 23 -- Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana witnessed its grand trailer preview in Kolkata earlier this week with school students from all over the city attending the event.

The event, held at IMAX South City Mall, was preceded by a quiz on the epic - the Ramayana - and a number of games for the youngsters.

Ramayana is an upcoming Indian epic film produced by Namit Malhotra, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, and written by Shridhar Raghavan.

The film is based on the ancient Indian text the Ramayana and is the first installment of a planned two-part series.
