New Delhi/IBNS, July 28 -- The Supreme Court on Tuesday came down heavily on the Delhi Police over its crackdown on Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) protesters, stressing that any inquiry would be meaningless unless responsibility for the alleged excesses was fixed, media reports said.
The top court observed that the police did not follow established procedures during the CJP's march to Parliament, with several videos purportedly showing baton charges on protesters, including women.
