New Delhi/IBNS, May 27 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday issued an advisory to citizens amid the severe heatwave conditions prevailing across large parts of the country.

Modi posted a thread on X warning about soaring temperatures and urged people to stay hydrated, carry water while stepping out, and offer water to others as an act of kindness during the extreme weather.

The Prime Minister also highlighted the importance of recognising symptoms of heat exhaustion such as dizziness and nausea, and advised people to immediately help those affected, especially children, the elderly and outdoor workers.
