Kolkata, Sept. 20 -- Citizen Watches inaugurated a relocated flagship store at South City Mall on Thursday, marking the 50th anniversary of its Eco-Drive technology, with actor Abir Chatterjee joining the company's senior management for the opening.

Eco-Drive, introduced by the Japanese watchmaker five decades ago, converts light into power, removing the need for regular battery changes. The company said the technology reflects its broader push toward more sustainable watchmaking.

The relocated Kolkata store gives the brand an expanded retail space in the city, where guests viewed Citizen and Bulova's latest collections and spoke with senior management and business partners.
