'My father was almost lynched': Families of Delhi cops assaulted during NEET protests share chilling accounts
New Delhi/IBNS, July 31 -- Amid growing support for students protesting over the NEET paper-leak, the families of Delhi Police personnel allegedly assaulted during the July 20 Parliament march have shared their traumatic experiences, recounting how their loved ones came under attack while on duty, media reports said.
The family members of the injured police personnel held a press conference and played videos purportedly showing several officers being assaulted during the protest.
Kunjal, a Delhi University student, said her father, a sub-inspector, was deployed on the frontline near the barricades at the Jantar Mantar protest site.
