'Mannat is a private property': Supreme Court clears renovation of Shah Rukh Khan's Bandra residence
New Delhi/IBNS, July 14 -- The Supreme Court on Tuesday dismissed a petition challenging the renovation of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's iconic Mumbai residence, Mannat, observing that the property could be renovated as long as the work complies with applicable laws.
Hearing the matter, the Supreme Court observed that Mannat is a private property and that the owners are entitled to renovate it in accordance with the legal framework.
The court, led by Chief Justice of India Surya Kant, rejected the plea seeking judicial intervention in the renovation work.
