Kolkata/IBNS, Oct. 6 -- Bengali actor Rukmini Maitra attended a special beauty event at South City Mall last week, where she spoke about her preference for minimal makeup, skincare and her plans for the upcoming Durga Puja.

Speaking about her approach to makeup, Rukmini said that she grew up watching her mother and sister opt for minimal makeup, which influenced her own preferences.

The actor said she likes makeup that feels light and allows the skin to breathe, adding that maintaining a good skincare base makes it easier to achieve a natural look.

Rukmini also shared how she keeps a few products handy when she has to quickly move between shoots, meetings and other commitments.
