India, Aug. 11 -- Formula 1 legend Michael Schumacher has remained away from the public spotlight for several years following his devastating skiing accident, but a piece of happy news has now emerged from his family.

David Schumacher, the nephew of the seven-time Formula 1 world champion and son of six-time Grand Prix winner Ralf Schumacher, has announced that he and his wife, Vivien, are expecting their first child.

The couple shared the news on social media with a heartwarming photograph featuring baby shoes, a teddy bear and their reflection as they kissed in front of a picturesque lake and mountain backdrop.
