Mumbai/IBNS, Feb. 26 -- Actress Konkona Sen Sharma has spoken about the portrayal of homosexuality on screen in the context of her role in Netflix's Accused.
Directed by Anubhuti Kashyap, the layered psychological drama features Konkona as London-based doctor Dr. Geetika Sen, who is in a relationship with a woman named Meera, played by Pratibha Ranta.
In an interview with Just Too Filmy, Konkona emphasised that Accused does not treat homosexuality as an "issue," but presents it as a normal relationship - unlike how it is often depicted in Indian cinema.
