'Govt has nothing to hide': Amit Shah says 'ready for debate' on NEET crackdown; Rahul Gandhi hits back, 'not interested in lecture'
New Delhi/IBNS, Aug. 12 -- Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday appealed to the Opposition to allow a debate in Parliament on the police action against NEET protesters, saying he was ready to "respond to every question" raised by the Opposition.
Shah said the government had nothing to hide as he spoke to the reports outside Parliament.
The BJP also shared a video of Shah's remarks on X.
Responding to Shah, Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi said he was not interested in a "lecture" from the Home Minister, but wanted answers regarding the alleged police action against students during the Parliament march.
