India, Sept. 1 -- The United States has termed its relationship with India "defining" amid the display of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's bonhomie with Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping, the Presidents of Russia and China respectively, at the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit.

The statement has been shared by US Embassy India on X saying, "The partnership between the United States and India continues to reach new heights - a defining relationship of the 21st century. This month, we're spotlighting the people, progress, and possibilities driving us forward.
