India, May 11 -- Packaged food player Wingreens Farms has acquired sustainable food company Safe Harvest in a share swap transaction, after concluding its Rs.120 Cr (around $12.6 Mn) Series D funding round led by Ashish Kacholia, with participation from Alchemy Fund.
Founded in 2011 by Anju Srivastava and Arun Srivastava, Wingreens Farms sells packaged foods like healthy snacks, sauces, dips, breakfast cereals, non-dairy milk, and protein shakes. It plans to deploy the freshly raised capital for product expansion, distribution growth, supply chain integration, and continued investments in innovation and farmer partnerships.
