India, July 28 -- Amid growing penetration of quick commerce in Indian retail, value retail chain Vishal Mega Mart is looking to double down on quick deliveries. Speaking during Q1 earnings call, managing director and CEO Gunender Kapur said that the channel is now contributing meaningfully to store sales and helping it reach new customers as it expands beyond its traditional offline business.

Vishal Mega Mart's quick commerce network has expanded to 767 stores across 520 cities, with the number of registered users crossing 1.4 Cr. The retailer entered the quick commerce race in 2024, offering deliveries within 30 minutes.
