India, Feb. 26 -- Internet of things (IoT)-based wireless access control startup Spintly has raised $8 Mn (Rs.72.8 Cr) in its Series A funding round led by Accel, along with participation from Enrission India Capital, SucSEED Ventures, Alumni Ventures, and Chakra Growth Fund.

The Goa-headquartered startup plans to deploy 60% of the fresh capital towards growth initiatives, including sales, business development, and marketing expansion across India, MEA and the US regions.

Meanwhile, 20% of the capital will be deployed for research and development, and the remaining amount will be used towards operations and infrastructure scaling.
