Plazza Bags $15 Mn To Expand Quick Medicine Delivery Business
India, July 20 -- Quick medicine delivery startup Plazza has raised $15 Mn (about Rs.145 Cr) in a Series A funding round co-led by Accel, Elevation Capital and Nexus Venture Partners.
The round also saw participation from existing investors All In Capital and Better Capital.
The Bengaluru-based startup plans to use the fresh capital to strengthen its technology platform and deepen its AI-led inventory and assortment capabilities. A portion of the funding will go towards building operational infrastructure and expanding its pharmacy network.
Founded in 2024 by former Zomato executive Aman Priyadarshi, Plazza operates technology-enabled neighbourhood pharmacies that deliver medicines within 15 to 30 minutes.
