India, June 10 -- Paediatric healthcare brand Hoola Health (erstwhile BabyMD) has raised $5 Mn (around Rs.47.6 Cr) in a funding round led by Peak XV's Surge, along with participation from existing investor W Health Ventures. The round also saw participation from a host of angel investors, including MFV Partners partner Ashish Gupta, Tracxn cofounder Abhishek Goyal, and Retail Association of India chairman Bijou Kurien.

The Bengaluru-based startup plans to deploy the capital to expand its clinic network across Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Delhi NCR.
