India, April 20 -- OpenAI is facing a partial outage which has impacted operations of its chatbot, ChatGPT, and agentic coding platform Codex and API platform. Thousands of users are facing issues in accessing the website and app, as per data from Downdetector. 

The company is currently "investigating" the issue behind the outage

The incident has been marked as a "partial outage", with a wide set of features affected, including conversations, login, voice mode and image generation. This means that even users who are able to sign in may face errors while using specific features.
