India, Sept. 9 -- AI giant OpenAI is reportedly in discussions with Reliance Industries and other domestic data centre companies to bring global supercomputing joint venture The Stargate Project to India.

Yotta Data Services, E2E Networks, CtrlS Datacenters and Sify Technologies are among the domestic companies the ChatGPT parent is in talks with, ET reported.

Additionally, OpenAI has been holding discussions with Reliance, which plans to build one of the world's largest data centres in Gujarat's Jamnagar, for over six months, the report added.
