India, Sept. 4 -- Healthtech startup Medulance has raised Rs.24 Cr ($2.5 Mn) in its Series A funding round from Auxano Capital, existing backers Alkemi, Equentis and a group of angel investors.

The startup plans to use the fresh capital to expand emergency services pan India, grow its hospital and enterprise business, and improve its technology and connected ambulances.

Founded in 2017 by Pranav Bajaj and Ravjot Singh Arora, Medulance is an Indian GPS-based emergency response and ambulance booking service.

It provides app- and phone-based ambulance booking and dispatch services, with a fleet that includes advanced life support (ALS), basic life support (BLS), patient transport and mortuary vans.
