Klassroom IPO: Issue Subscribed 40% On Day 1 So Far
India, July 31 -- Edtech startup Klassroom's initial public offering (IPO) saw robust investor demand within hours of opening.
As of 12:51 IST, investors placed bids for 7.01 Lakh shares against a total offer size of 17.58 Lakh shares on offer, translating to a 40% subscription.
Retail investors have been the most bullish on the company's public float till now. These investors have already subscribed their quota by 55%, placing bids for 4.46 Lakh shares against 8.17 Lakh shares earmarked for them.
Qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) also subscribed to their quota by 47%. These investors have bid for 2.20 Lakh shares against 4.64 Lakh shares reserved for them as of now.
