India, Feb. 14 -- For decades, India's baby apparel market has delivered little of the specialised care that newborns and young children require. In the absence of dedicated brands that ensure safe, comfortable and eco-friendly fabrics, synthetic materials and chemical dyes have continued to dominate baby clothes, prioritising cost and scale over safety.

Although modern parents aggressively audit labels and supply chains, the fabrics touching their infants' sensitive skin have somehow remained a blind spot.
