India, Aug. 7 -- Peak XV Partners vice president Kriti Gupta is set to leave the VC firm after five years, sources told Inc42.

Gupta has decided to take some time off before making her next career move.

Confirming the development, Gupta told Inc42, "It's been an incredible 5 years at Peak XV. I've decided to move on. going to take some time (off)."

Meanwhile, a spokesperson of Peak XV said, "Kriti and Peak XV have mutually agreed that she will be transitioning from the firm in the coming months. We sincerely thank Kriti for her contributions and the value she has brought to Peak XV during her time with us. We wish her continued success in the next chapter of her career."
