India, Sept. 24 -- D2C brand P-TAL has raised $3 Mn in its Series A funding round led by Venture Catalysts' syndicated fund VC Grid and Nikhil Kamath's Rainmatter.

The funding round also saw participation from US-based VC firm Connecticut Innovations, former Titan Capital partner Bipin Shah's new VC fund Zero Pearl, Anicut Capital, Jaipur Rugs Family Office, Livspace's Ramakant Sharma, Genesis Luxury's Sanjay Kapoor, Caratlane's Avnish Anand, Atomberg's Shibam Das, and Innov8's Ritesh Malik.

It is pertinent to note that this was Connecticut Innovations' first investment in India, the startup said in a statement.
