India, Feb. 1 -- The Centre will help states in setting up five regional medical hubs to promote the country as a hub for medical tourism, finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman said.
Under this, the central government will launch a scheme to support states in establishing the regional medical hubs, in partnership with the private sector, Sitharaman said while presenting her ninth Union Budget.
"These hubs will serve as integrated healthcare complexes that combine medical, educational and research facilities.
