India, Aug. 20 -- Babycare-focused quick commerce startup Peeko has raised $7 Mn (Rs.67.4 Cr) in its Series A funding round led by Chiratae Ventures. The round also saw participation from existing investor Stellaris Venture Partners among other angel investors.

With this, Peeko has now raised about Rs.95 Cr in total, including the Rs.28 Cr it raised last year.

The fresh capital will primarily be deployed towards expanding the startup's presence in Bengaluru, improving its product assortment and building out its tech stack, cofounder Chetan Sharma told Inc42.

The startup currently has around 60 people on its team and plans to use a portion of the funds to hire for key positions as it expands its operations.
