India, April 27 -- Ecommerce giant Amazon plans to expand its quick commerce service 'Amazon Now' to 100 cities across India as it looks to strengthen its presence in the rapidly growing segment.
In a statement, the company said it plans to scale its fulfilment infrastructure to more than 1,000 micro-fulfilment centres (MFCs), enabling delivery of daily essentials within minutes.
The service, which is currently available in Mumbai, Delhi NCR, and Bengaluru, will be progressively rolled out across metros and non-metros, including Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Jaipur, Lucknow, Kanpur, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Meerut, Mysore, Panipat, among others.
