Hours after the MP Nishikant Dubey-led parliamentary panel warned Meta over its content moderation practices, CEO Mark Zuckerberg has reportedly apologised for issues related to child abuse content, deepfakes and operational errors on platform operations, particularly the removal of PM Narendra Modi's Facebook video for several hours.

The move came after Meta's global team met the panel earlier in the day and later IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, as per a report by PTI.
