The public issue of edtech company Klassroom ended day one with a subscription of 73%. As per BSE data, the IPO received bids for 12.92 Lakh shares against the 17.58 Lakh shares on offer.

Retail investors continued to show the highest interest in the IPO, with the portion reserved for seeing a 97% subscription. These investors placed bids for 7.93 Lakh shares against the 8.18 Lakh shares reserved for them.

Meanwhile, interest from Qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) was also healthy on the opening day. These investors bid for 3.14 Lakh shares against the 4.64 Lakh shares reserved for them. This translates to 68% subscription of their quota.
