DARBHANGA, Aug. 1 -- Police in Darbhanga have arrested a woman after a video purportedly showing her dancing while brandishing an illegal pistol surfaced on social media, officials said on Friday. According to police, the video was received on the official mobile number of the Ghanshyampur police station on July 29. Following verification through local village watchmen, the woman in the video was identified as Lakho Devi, wife of Ram Gulab Yadav, a resident of Sirsiya village under Ghanshyampur police station limits. Acting on the information, the station house officer constituted a raiding team and conducted a search at the woman's residence. During the search, police recovered a pistol fitted with a magazine from a box kept inside the house. "An additional magazine, two live 7.65 mm cartridges bearing the marking "KF 7-65", an Android mobile phone and Rs.160 in cash were also seized, said SHO of Ghanshyam pur PS, Alok Kumar. Lakho Devi was arrested, and the recovered firearm and ammunition were seized in accordance with legal procedures. A case has been registered, and further legal action is underway, police added....
