PATNA, July 10 -- The special judge of vigilance court Atul Kumar Singh on Thursday rejected the regular bail of contractor Rishu Ranjan Sinha alias Rishu Shree, accused in connection with the tender scam case. The court reserved the bail of another accused, Tarini Das, a retired chief engineer of the building construction department. Special public prosecutor, vigilance court, Anandi Singh said that the court reserved its order after hearing arguments from both sides, she added. She said, "I strongly opposed the bail as it involved a big misuse of public money. The vigilance had found 61 sale deeds in his name and that of his family." In a related development, the hearing on the anticipatory bail plea of accused IAS officer Sanjiv Hans could not take place. The court has scheduled the matter for hearing on July 10....
