ARA, May 24 -- Two people were killed in a clash between two groups over a mere one-and-a-half feet of land in Bhojpur district on Friday night, police said. The incident took place in Madai village under the jurisdiction of Charpokhari Police Station in the district. According to police, one person died on the spot, while the other succumbed to injuries while being taken to Ara Sadar Hospital for treatment. Eleven people from both sides were also injured in the scuffle and are currently undergoing treatment at Ara Sadar Hospital. The deceased were identified as Rajnath Singh, 72, son of the late Ram Iqbal Singh and a resident of Ward No. 12 of Madai village, and Radhey Shyam Singh, 30, son of Satya Narayan Singh, also a resident of the same village. Radhey Shyam Singh worked at a rolling mill in Jamshedpur and had returned to the village ten days ago, while Rajnath Singh was a farmer....
