Two cyber crooks held in East Champaran
BETTIAH, Sept. 29 -- East Champaran police arrested two cyber criminals with alleged connections in Pakistan who fleeced people belonging to various states through cyber crimes and used local villagers' bank accounts to further their racket on the pretext of providing benefits from various government schemes in the district, police said on Saturday late evening.
Motihari cyber police said that the arrests of Aman Kumar and Vishal Kumar, both residents of East Champaran, were made following a complaint from six villagers of Tajpur Deur village in Kesariya block, whose bank accounts were used by the cyber criminals to collect extorted money under the guise of government schemes....
