BETTIAH, Sept. 19 -- A 45-year-old government school teacher was allegedly abducted and beaten to death by villagers in Bihar's East Champaran district on Thursday afternoon, police said. The victim was identified as Mahamad Shamshad Alam, a teacher at Utkramit Uchch Vidyalaya in Siswa, Banjariya block.
