Raid on hoarding of gas cylinders unearths sex racket in Mokama
PATNA, March 19 -- Five persons including a hotel owner have been taken into custody after police busted a sex racket during a raid on black marketing of cooking gas cylinders at Mokama area under the same police station on Wednesday.
Police said that a police team in association with the local administration arrived to inspect hoarding of gas cylinders for black marketing but it discovered a high-profile sex racket at a hotel.
"The raiding team intensive raids in various hotels of the area on the basis of suspicious information and black marketing of gas cylinders. During the action, the police detained several young men and women in suspicious condition from the hotel premises," said a police officer.
Police believe this illegal business had been thriving under the guise of the hotel for a long time. Five hotel rooms sealed, several young men, women and a hotel owner were detained into custody in this connection, said a police officer.
SHO of Mokama police station Kunal Kumar said that all the detained persons are being questioned. "The matter is being verified. Detailed information will be released only after the investigation is complete. We are trying to find out who else is involved in the racket."
On the other hand, several cooking gas cylinders were seized from the hotel....
