PATNA, May 21 -- A 35-year-old property dealer was shot dead in broad daylight by motorcycle-borne assailants on Wednesday in Muzaffarpur, police said. According to police, the incident took place near Rohua on the Mushari-Pusa road, triggering panic in the surrounding area. The victim was identified as Ankit Kumar alias Prabhakar. Mohibullah Ansari, City Superintendent of Police (SP), said the victim was a native of Mahua in Vaishali and was currently residing in Prahaladpur locality under the Mushari police station area. Following the incident, the victim was rushed to a primary health centre and later referred to Sri Krishna Medical College and Hospital (SKMCH), where doctors declared him dead on arrival. After receiving information about the incident, a police team, accompanied by forensic experts, reached the spot to begin an investigation. The City SP said, "Prima facie, the case appears to be linked to a land dispute. Multiple teams have been deployed, and raids are being conducted to trace the suspects."...
