Jamshedpur, Feb. 25 -- President of India Droupadi Murmu will visit Manipal Tata Medical College (MTMC) in Baridih locality after performing the Bhumi Pujan (groundbreaking ceremony) of the Rs 100 crore Sri Jagannath Temple Spiritual & Cultural Charitable Centre alongside the Marine Drive at Kadma on February 26, marking the beginning of a project destined to become a cornerstone of the Jharkhand's spiritual and cultural heritage. Preparations have entered their final and most intensive phase to ensure a grand and seamless reception for the President with the East Singhbhum district deputy commissioner (DC) Karn Satyarthi and senior superintendent of police (SSP) Piyush Pandey undertaking a joint inspection of both the venues, Sonari Airport, the route plan, traffic diversions, alternate routes, security. Both the top officials also carried out carcade rehearsal on Tuesday. "Entry and movement of all heavy vehicles, commercial vehicles into the city will be banned from 6 am to 11 pm on February 26. Passenger buses will also not be allowed to ply inside the city from 11 am to 4.30 pm on February 26," a joint order by DC, SSP and traffic DSP stated on Tuesday.
