PATNA, Oct. 5 -- Even after four days, Patna police have failed to ascertain the identity of a 22-year-old woman who was allegedly thrown from the third floor of an apartment, with her blood-soaked body later abandoned at IGIMS Hospital. Police have circulated her blood-stained picture on social media groups in a bid to establish her identity. "Despite clear CCTV footage showing both faces, neither the man nor the woman has been identified. Her identity has not been confirmed yet. We have already alerted other police stations to check missing persons reports, but nothing has come so far," said an official familiar with the matter. According to the police, the incident took place in Soho Nirmala Apartment, located in Ashokpuri (RK Puram), which falls under the jurisdiction of Danapur police station. The victim, along with her male friend, had been living in Flat No-306 since September 9 this year. The flat owner, Akhilanand Singh, told police that the couple had rented the 2BHK apartment for Rs.8,000 per month and introduced themselves as husband and wife. The rental agreement was made in the name of Amit Kumar, son of Vimal Singh, resident of Kesari Nagar, Patna. However, the Aadhaar details provided by Amit Kumar during the rental process later turned out to be fake. Police said preliminary investigation suggests that the man allegedly pushed the woman from the third floor - approximately 65 feet high - killing her on the spot. The shocking act was captured by CCTV cameras installed at a nearby private school. Though the apartment building itself only had parking-area cameras, the school's cameras recorded the entire sequence, clearly showing the woman falling from the balcony....
