PATNA, Oct. 23 -- A 20-year-old man, identified as Kundan Kumar, was stabbed in Patna's Guzri Bazaar late Wednesday night following an argument over music played during an idol immersion. Authorities at the Khajekalan police station stated that they have yet to make any arrests in the case. Police said that the incident took place at around 11pm on Wednesday night after dispute began over music. A group of miscreants dragged Kundan into a lane in front of the sales tax office where they stabbed him repeatedly on his face and other parts of his body. The attackers then fled, said a police officer. The injured youth was initially taken to Nalanda Medical College and Hospital (NMCH) for treatment but critical condition, doctors referred him to PMCH for better care.
