PATNA, Sept. 6 -- The rising water level on the Patna-Gaya rail section has affected rail services. The railways has suspended train movements on the down line due to rising water levels at Bridge No. 21 along the Punpun-Parsa Bazar section. According to the East Central Railways, four pairs of trains, including 13329/13330 Dhanbad-Patna Express and 15137/15138 Banaras-Rajgir Express scheduled for September 5, have been diverted. The Dhanbad-Patna Express train diverted via Fatuha and Tilaiya while Banaras-Rajgir diverted via DDU, Buxar and Ara stations. Earlier, many trains were running late by two to three hours behind their schedules. This caused inconvenience to the passengers travelling on this section. In view of rising water level on bridge number 21, the railways have decided to run some trains at a slower speed. ECR officials said that the engineering department suspended train services between kilometres number 11/38-32 of the down line from 20:10 pm on Friday in view of safety....
