PATNA, Oct. 23 -- Chief minister Nitish Kumar has once again launched a scathing attack on Lalu Prasad and Rabri Devi on law and order and dynastic politics being practised by them during a public rally on Wednesday in Gopalganj and Siwan. "When Lalu had to step down, he made his wife the chief minister. Have I brought anyone from our own family into politics? He does everything within his own family, is this right?," said Kumar without taking names. The CM further said that those who ruled Bihar for long periods did nothing for the state's development. Kumar held two public rallies on Wednesday at Bhore and Barauli assembly constituencies of Gopalganj district. During these rallies, he sharply targeted the Opposition, particularly RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav and former CM Rabri Devi. "Lalu Prasad promoted dynastic politics in Bihar. He after seven years in power in the state appointed his wife Rabri Devi as CM, which goes against the spirit of democracy," he said. "We have never practiced dynastic politics... No one in my family is in politics. We only do politics to serve the people,"said Kumar. The CM said that the Narendra Modi government at the Centre and the NDA government in the state have jointly put Bihar on a new path of development.
