Nitish interacts with workers of NDA, shares 'victory mantra'
KATIHAR/MADHUBANI, Sept. 28 -- While Union home minister Amit Shah addressed BJP workers in Samastipur and Araria, sharing with them a 'victory mantra', Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar simultaneously held a meeting with NDA workers in Katihar and gave them tips to win the election.
Addressing NDA workers at Sameli in Katihar on Saturday, Kumar highlighted the development work carried out by his government since 2005. "Prior to 2005, the government did nothing," he alleged.
"Earlier, Hindu-Muslim tension was rampant. Our government started fencing graveyards, and now such tension has ended in Bihar," Kumar said, adding, "We also fenced temples. We see no difference between Hindus and Muslims, upper castes and lower castes, Dalits and Mahadalits, and we have worked for all of them."
The chief minister said, "Our government not only opened schools but also recruited over 5,20,000 teachers with a special focus on quality education. Of these, 2,58,000 teachers were recruited by BPSC, while over 2,62,000 contract teachers were given the status of government teachers through nominal examinations."
He also spoke about healthcare, transport, road development, women's empowerment, digital infrastructure, and education, and announced that his government has already decided to provide jobs to over one crore youths in Bihar over the next five years, aiming to boost economic growth and employment opportunities....
